      Pros

      Good equipment, professional image, and vast resources.

      Cons

      Parochial management at local offices throughout the regions I was employed. No shortage of backstabbing and gossiping. Though a training ground for many a future fire fighter, the organization shows a desire to make EMS more than it is, but has struggled with how to define this quest. The result has left numerous healthcare executives I have interacted with amused, to say the least.

      The experience is invaluable. The field crews are awesome to work with.

      Cons

      Everything. Will never get off on time. Will never get a lunch or break. I've been yelled at by a supervisor because I had to go to the bathroom and a call was waiting.

      Employees looking out for each other with safety and shift coverage. Supervisor's always approachable.

      Cons

      Pay is lacking for beginning employees. Company places to many limits on supervisors to adequately do a good job.
