This is the worst company I have ever worked for. In reflection of this job my employers put me in situations that compromised my personal safety on many occasions. The hours were terrible, the attitude of management towards the staff was often abusive. Patient care was not in balance with company profit. While I consider this the most important and exciting job I have ever had on many levels, I can not say enough what a terrible organization this company is. Also the union is absolutely awful. Your rights will only be protected by seniority which has produced many long time employees that are simply lazy and difficult to work with. While the experience is amazing for a first time EMS position it is not designed for long term employment.

Communication from the upper management to the field is sometimes lacking. The website and email use has improved awareness of what's going on, generally.The ambulances often have way too many miles on them.
