      Fun job as an EMT.

      Cons

      Fun job as long as you don't take too much pride in it, because you will be disappointed. The company is very penny pinching. Local management is good, but executive management is more about numbers than about people. As long as they have warm bodies doing reports and not wrecking ambulances, then they can meet their goals. EMT pay is not good. The union contract is bizarre. Ambulances are old.

      Team work, group effiency, ability to get the job done in a timely effort, work ethnics,over all looking out for one another .,

      Cons

      missed meal breaks, always under staffed,,not enough Ambulances on the road,teams frequently getting held over or past their shifts end time.

      Pros

      Victorvile division gets along with fire and is on scene first 80% of the time. Decent calls. LP15s

      Cons

      Low pay and overworked. Cannot retain medics at all. Have LP15s but the pulse ox is busted half the time. One supervisor will sell you out at the drop of a hat
