Pros

good vacation, competitive base salary, good engagement / colleagues helpful and some great staff members, leading brand in RPO (in some markets), good client list (globally), good place to learn RPO environment & processes

Cons

-Lack of investment in resources - inadequate staff levels, limited availability of sourcing tools -Limited growth in region (US) so not much opportunity for upward moves or lateral opportunities -Demanding work environment / quality of life issues- comparatively low bonus % to other RPO -Over promise and under deliver as is the generally the case with RPOs

Pros

Got to work with a fantastic company (Delta) and learn from their HR and recruiting professionals.

Cons

If you have an issue, there is no HR to talk to. You can't go to your client's HR and AMS HR is basically non existent for actual employee relations issues. Neglectful of employees and giving them important information in a timely manner. Will hire you on under false promises. Lots of things that they don't disclose but have written in the FINE PRINT.

Pros

Remote work Diversity and Inclusion Pay

Cons

AMS will tell you everything that you want to hear in order to convince you to join their team. For example, that if something were to happen to an account, there are so many other accounts that they could transfer you to. (This is NOT true. There is NO job security at AMS.). Also, the bonus structure is not transparent. Townhall meetings with senior leadership - most of the leadership have been with the company a very short time (only a few months to less than 1 year). I was there 1 year - and had 9 DIFFERENT managers. Layoffs started in November 2022, and there were around 9 different rounds of layoffs until the final one in March 2023.
