Pros

Big company, good salary, lots of resources for sales people - ie: support staff

Cons

Terrible commission plan, highly stressed environment. Lied to me about commission plan. Brought me in at a certain percentage and then when it was time to renew comp plans for everyone shortly after, they brought me down to the same lower percentage as everyone else. Then tried to cover it up with some bull excuse. Blatant bait and switch.

Pros

Harman discount is really nice, especially for Christmas sales. Some of the people are still a joy to work with but have that finger on the resume' "send" button.

Cons

Shameful people running the business side. Out to screw every dealer and end user for a buck. Once manufacturing goes to China, watch the fail rate climb.

Pros

The pros are dwindling. You still get popcorn in the afternoon if you want and there are $3 lunches. I suspect, however, that will soon be a thing of the past. Most people you work for won't care when you're in the office as long as you make your meetings and deadlines, you're good. So there's a great work / life balance.

Cons

Insurance now sucks. For the family PPO, you'll pay around $7,500 / year, and then if you add the $2,500 flex spending (you'll need it!), you'll be paying close to $10,000 in insurance - that's without even seeing a doctor. Keep that in mind while interviewing and negotiating your salary. Since Rashid left, morale has tanked. There is absolutely no leadership within the company and zero innovation. The company doesn't listen to their dealers, and that's a bad, bad thing.
