Good Company, Great Work Life Balance

Pros

APL is a Singapore based company and the way they treat their employees is the best that I have ever experienced. Work day is 9 hours and that is it. No working from home, no phone calls after work, no laptops, no checking of emails.

Cons

The leadership is okay at best, no clear direction, sometimes makes bad decisions that affect the whole team. Technology is in the dark ages and in order to get things done you have to go through 50 levels of approvals

Managers have the autonomy to make decisions on daily operations. No micro management and pay to hourly associates is within the market rate.

Cons

The company needs to work on getting more employees hired full time instead of utilizing 75 % of the work force as temps
