Pros
I started working with Armada in the winter of 2021 coming off the heels of lockdown. It was weird getting trained through online at the time, but trainers and training programs were well above standard to get me started. Once training is done, you always have the help of coworkers and managers. Over my time, its safe to say that coordinator role is great for getting your foot in the door for supply chain and transportation experience. You will get to meet all sorts of people through clients and transportation teams, and will have a lot of independence on how you work and solve problems. There are also a lot of options for internal growth, if you are interested in promotions or other sides of the industry. I was promoted after a year and half and had continued to be offered other opportunities for growth. The company treats its employees well and usually provides decent benefits with work. The hybrid schedule is nice and allows for more flexibility when needed. Summary: - Great Training Staff -Good hybrid schedule -Friendly staff and coworkers -Overtime options when available -Options for internal growth -Lots of internal programs for education
Cons
Only downsides are pay and employee turnover. Pay is not necessarily high, but understandable with the remote/hybrid options. Turnover is kind of high with longer times between new hires causing employees to take over more responsibility. HR is also a bit too lax on some employees who take advantage of the remote/hybrid schedule. Summary: - Pay is not competitive at times -Turnover causing higher workloads
