      The employees are great to work with.

      Cons

      Management believes all Salaried Employees should work 60 hours per week, 6 day per week. They limit hourly to 45 hours per week. Laid off a large amount of people in September, just to increase the workload on their current employees and save money. Now they are hiring in new graduates, mostly H1B employees, without families, so they will work more without complaining. Horrible place, if you are family oriented or a single parent.

      ASM is an industry leading technology enabling company. ASM is a smaller company, doing big things. ASM has a lot of great people to work with and work for. At all levels, ASM employees can and do have an impact on the bottom line. Salaries and benefits are industry competitive.

      Cons

      Through growth, ASM has been seeing substantial change in management and organizational structure; not all of which are positive. ASM operates lean, which has its affects on things like work/life balance, supporting resources, business systems. ASM senior management struggles to make decisions, translating to delayed reactions and unnecessary stresses on existing business/customers. Indecision has also come at the cost of missing out on certain business opportunities. However, all issues other organizations are not immune to.
