Disgusting. Stay away if you care about your career

Pros

Mission and teams in hospital are caring and really want to see the best for animals.

Cons

Management and senior leadership ranks are corrupt and play extreme favoritism. This is high school all over again. Also zero diversity in NYC.

Pros

Benefits are great. (Medical, Dental, Vision for family- limited employee cost), 401k match, disability, life insurance. Most employees are dedicated and believe in the mission.

Cons

No opportunities for advancement unless you are in management and then it's who you know. Gone are the days of treating the employees as family/people; now it is all about the bottom line. Lack of work/life balance for majority of employees. Required time off requests 2-4 months prior, but schedule comes out less than a month prior. Major changes to work and schedule occur frequently without a plan in place or communication.

Pros

Great Mission and this company really makes a difference across the country with saving animals

Cons

Management has no management experience including HR. The seems as if the managers are usually just "wingint" it.
