Pros

Benefits are pretty great. Paid Lunch is very rare.

Cons

Employees really do not have the opportunity to develop unless you come into a managerial role. The "individual contributor" role means they will work you to the bone, then micromanage until you can not take it any more and leave. Management hires their friends instead of promoting within. Its a culture where everybody is looking for an opportunity to throw somebody under the bus under some false illusion they will get ahead. Not enough managers are focused on the mission, but rather on how they can receive recognition.

Pros

Money is good when you're working.

Cons

Not a professional group of responders. They drink....a lot and sleep around while on deployments and if you don't do these things then your not in their cliquish group and will rarely, if ever, be asked to go on another deployment.
