      Pros

      Great coworker relations and team support. In my department at least, we have great and kind managers. Environment is relaxed even though the call volume is high.

      Cons

      They need to hire more personnel. Call volume is extremely high sometimes which creates a lot of stress. Surprisingly we all do a good job! Dealing with angry clients is challenging. Not a lot of break-decompressing time.

      - The people...most of my colleagues are smart, interesting, and compassionate - The animals...it feels good to work in a place where you know you're saving lives, especially when many of these pets come from terrible conditions - The work...I enjoy the ability to be creative and develop ideas on how to address animal welfare issues around the country

      Cons

      - Work/life balance - 8th Avenue office location is not in the best part of town - Red tape on getting approvals because there are so many departments
