Bureaucracy is everywhere, when I worked in there, the first two years was fine, the manager wants to raise our standard and inspires us.
After another manager forced the original one to leave, everything changes, that manager thinks all about forcing people related to the former boss to leave rather than doing things well, really a waste of time.
The schedule of my work for one day is: 10:00~12:30 a.m., we'll be standing in that managers room and listen to his shouting & yelling, by using all bad words that one can think about in Taiwan military service. The rest of the day, you'll do your work in an little room called "war room", where everyone work in the same table, which is not efficient at all. We got the mental pressure to work even during weekend, in the midnight during the weekday, and finally for the bonus it's almost nothing, we got only 28300 USD for that year.
Also it uses "stack ranking" in a group of only 3 persons, so no matter how hard work you've done, it's useless. When the stock price of ASUS falls down to 30 NTD, it starts to lay off people by reason like this.
The manager even thinks that he can fire people which doesn't belong to that company, extremely arrogant.
