Pros

As a traditional big tech company, ASUS provides lots of activities and benefits for employee's families.

Cons

ASUS is a popular brand in 3C - notebook, mobile phone, ..., etc. However, it heavily relies on its hardware-manufacturing power, therefore the environment is not friendly for software engineer -- the core mindset of the company is hardware/OEM, and it's bad for software development; also, it's well-known that the salary package is lower than average among the tech companies in Taipei; finally, the management culture here is highly people-oriented -- rules, SOPs are not as important as manager's words.
