Pros

- Pay is ok - Coworkers are good.

Cons

- Longish hours - Pay is not as competitive in comparison to other companies - Good people who have provided many innovative solutions to the company are being let go - Key individuals in teams are being let go, thus more work is being piled on the existing team members - No direction in middle management followed by redundant meetings - Innovative in-house solutions are being discarded in favor of pricey licensed software - Incompetent managers (who play favorites) are being promoted in place of managers who cared about their subordinates - Project funding system is disastrous (sustaining vs enhancing) - Certain management individuals are favoring their own kind - Too much bureaucracy, simple processes that should take minutes are taking days (approvals to use libraries, get access to systems, etc.)

Pros

Steady paycheck and decent benefits

Cons

People were often hired without adequate experience and experience gained on the job was disregarded. Middle management was distant and disconnected from the day-to-day business that they oversaw. Corporate politics and favoritism created and sustained a toxic work environment.
