Management has too many people who do very little work but can talk about "it" for days. Most of the BellSouth management staff has been downsized in the "merger" with AT&T. AT&T's mentality is still in the 1960's and 70's on a good day. In my area, minorities (women as well) were the lowest paid managers in the department, regardless of years of service or education.

Watching the CEO dismantle the backbone of the company, limiting it's ability to expand upon current it's positive U-Verse and broadband revenues. Upper management that believes that layoffs = revenue. Upper management that believes that raising consumer prices on basic services, U-Verse and broadband = revenue and growth.
