Pros

AT&T has good programs that support working remotely and Profit sharing.

Cons

Like with any large company there are many managers who fail to suport you on projects. The managers rather impede your progress to show that they themselves are required to complete projects. This is counter productive for the company. Also, they treat foriegn contractors and consultants better than the native American staff that are full time employees.

Pros

Salary and benefits are pretty good for the telecommuncations industry.

Cons

Company is not focused on customer service. They only focus on performance measurement (all of which are pretty useless b/c they can be manipulated).

Pros

Most of time a safe secure job. The workplace can be positive.

Cons

Opportunities are all driven by the $$$ numbers. Less concern about employees. All decisions are decided by the numbers. Customer Service is on the list, but always takes a back seat to the numbers.
