Pros

Being in the theatre industry

Cons

Overworked, underpaid. Management is very amateurish and rude and there is always tension in the atmosphere. Not a good environment.

Pros

Short Hours. Pay is better than other theaters. They would work around an artists schedule.

Cons

Management has little regard for hourly employees. Rarely promote from within. High turnover rate due to managements inability to hire quality staff. The toxic atmosphere with employees who work on the floor as well as ones who work behind the scenes is conducive to poor morale. Overall, the management skills are nil. It's a "hit it and quit it" type of job with almost no possible career growth for FOH staff.
