Pros

Few, if any, pros to consider.

Cons

We seemingly have a new Vice President of such and such every few weeks, who is new to the industry, whereas salary decreases for the existing workforce still linger. My benefits have been slashed, as well as a salary decrease due to "forecasted market conditions". The forecasted market conditions have since proved to be inaccurate, however our compensation adjustments remain severely reduced. Overall moral is horrendous company wide, with management and the union literally hating each other, which manifests daily. There is a real and constant threat of ATI closing entire divisions and replacing them with outside contractors - evidence being that ATI constantly closes entire divisions of career employees and outsources the work to contractors. Morale is bad, pay has been cut, and frequently we have to change offices because the current office building/trailer/shack has become unsafe, and unusable.

Pros

Decent money, all the OT you want when business is good, bonuses, company pays for your tools, team members on the floor are good people.

Cons

Mandatory OT. Lack of metals knowledge in the executive team. Executives have been pulled from various industries. Headquarters was moved to Dallas, TX. Executives paid to move to Dallas, TX. Pay can be better for skills. High turnover rate. Losing experienced employees to other companies paying more. Can't get experienced techs due to lower pay compared to other places.

Pros

Great culture. Leaders are humble and smart. Nice area Pay is competitive Stable industry contract based revenue

Cons

Pretty lean, sometimes there aren't enough people to do all the work. But they're understanding of entry level learning curves
