      Pros

      At ATI there were many opportunities to make as much overtime as possible.The work environment was not hostile and it was safe.

      Cons

      One of the downfalls working at ATI was the scheduling. We were scheduled at least six days a week.

      Pros

      At least in my position, you have relative freedom to do what you want. There are projects and a lot of firefighting but when things aren't breaking down, you are free to pursue what you think will benefit the plant most.

      Cons

      Definitely a lot of firefighting. When there is an issue, you will be on call at any time. Also dealing with a Union is difficult sometimes as the priorities are not aligned. Business is heavily tied to commodities.
