Pros

Upper Management Co-workers Dipping toes in all professional areas, not just your job area Learn something new everyday Travel Opportunity Collaboration Creativity accepted Employee Relations Opinions Accepted

Cons

Some People are unprofessional. They don't follow the discipline plan so these individuals get away with playing the victim. Long hours sometimes, not always compensated for OT. But usually get a little flex time if you consistently work OT. Highst management can be too involved preventing the dept head from access to their job.
