Pros

There are certain sales managers who keep this place fun. They are easy to spot and hear. Your manager matters—some care about their salespeople, while others care more about their bosses. Laughing is essential here, and some managers make the workplace enjoyable. Upper management should take notes from these managers. It feels like only two managers allow laughter, while others are too scared of the directors or trying too hard to be their friends. On the floor, it’s clear which managers care for their team and which ones see them as replaceable. As a salesperson, I envy those with managers who genuinely care about them, not just the directors

Cons

Having to work two Saturdays is tough. We’re always told we’re not doing well enough, and even the sales managers look defeated. Sales managers should be allowed to let their teams talk and interact. The directors and owners discourage having personalities or side conversations, which stifles the team dynamic. It’s clear that only a few teams in the office have true chemistry and like their managers. Directors and higher-ups are out of touch they walk around and get upset if they see you having fun.
