From my hire date, I’ve witnessed 2 staffing reductions and a restructure of the department; I was there less than a year, mind you. The management team, aside from 1 (S.F.), look out for themselves and will quickly push you out the door once their neck is being stepped on. For example, our bonus for was changed out of the blue while approving/denying them and was not communicated to the team until we asked about them. Since I was the first to be told, couple individuals asked me and I communicated the truth. Once an individual was flustered and began showing emotions being frustrated, I was sent home early for the day for “stirring the team up.” Following Monday, I was terminated for my “attendance”; even though, management themselves, have not followed proper protocol during this entire journey with me being over the attendance points policy the company has. They’ll say I was gossiping that my points did not matter and the rules do not apply to me; however, that wasn’t the case. Did they have that conversation with me prior? Absolutely not. Why would they? Why not just get rid of some great talent? HR is not on your side at this company, but to protect the company’s interest and their management. All in all, speak up and you’ll be chopped; keep your head down, you’ll be fine.
