Pros

Excellent development opportunities for junior and middle level employees. Globally moving towards a more agile flex working environment with good work / life balance. Culturally diverse at junior and middle levels.

Cons

Global presence but limited opportunities to work internationally except for chosen few. Cultural diversity at top management level does not compare well against other multinationals. Glass ceiling after a certain point

Pros

Strong brand. Household name. Global business. Corporate environment, Departments for every aspect of business, Offices all around the country. Opportunity for international roles. Good pay. A vast array of benefits (PMI, car allowance, high-street discounts), good work-life balance, nice atmosphere, comfortable/modern offices, strong values. AXA is a great employer – TOP 25 as ranked by The Times.

Cons

The pay levels are not comparable across departments, some use numbers, other letters and some combinations. This can make it tricky to benchmark yourself and role.
