Pros

Access to many different products to sell to clients

Cons

Management is terrible, and they keep a lot from you during the interview. At the end of the day, this job is what you make of it. Once you learn they can't fire you if you hit your quotas, you can really starting doing things on our own. Some managers will call you late at night and will micro manage.

Pros

Freedom to come and go as you please.

Cons

Worked in public schools at a time when there is layoffs and no new hires. Supposed Orphan Lists to work to make money and build book of business is not as prosperous as it was made to be. The will put anyone in management. Has one of the lowest comp rates in industry and there are fees for everything including using social media.
