1. Compensation and bonus is some of the best. 2. Fridge is always stocked. 3. Work/life balance is good. 4. The base system product is very reputed.

Cons

1. Quirks of the company can get annoying sometimes. 2. Development tools/support not the best I have seen. 3. Features take precedence over quality. 4. Difficult to figure out "who is in charge" sometimes.

As a field consultant, you get a plethora of different challenges - ranging from extensive coding to build systems to giving presentations to key stakeholders. The company gives you a lot of independence and a wide berth. It's ideal for crafting your own adventure. The pay is also strong.

Cons

The independence can be intense at some points, and the company expects you to be able to hold your own. But... no pressure no diamonds.
