Pros

Compensation is good but at a price- the long hours. Eventually, you might not earn as much if you divide by the number of hours - expect 60 hours week.

Cons

The hours are long, the velocity is insane and your manager is pressured to deliver in time or ahead of schedule which means you get pressured to as well. I don’t think it’s normal if everyone in the company is working overtime all the time and people are hesitant to take annual leave even though it’s unlimited. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the culture and if you want to start a family or want to learn or just have a life. Additionally, employees who have been there long enough and are accustomed to the culture may be find it easier to get promoted but may not have the leadership or empathy or professionalism compared to other individuals at similar ranks in other companies.

Pros

- Great AI Tooling - Money is great, top of the line pay. - If the money they offer you is pretty much enough for you to sacrifice everything in your life like health, being stressful about being piped etc. then definitely go for it. - Some teams are good, however, if you are in the wrong team, then it will be really tough to survive.

Cons

- Deadlines are insane cause apparently AI is magic. - If you are in a team with weak tech lead, then god help you. - Blame culture is encouraged in India org, People are focused on protecting themselves, which is understandable cause culture of the company comes from above. - Worst oncall culture in the industry, you will have to manage work, oncall at the same time. Ofcourse due to having weak tech leads and architectural decisions, you will regularly be paged. - No feedback system to actually give feedback about your reporting persons, so if you don't get along with them then you are effed - People leave after 1 year or before. Cause they realise the culture is rotten, work deadlines is really bad and maybe the money is not worth the hit on mental and physical health.
