Pros

You get good exposure as a young web developer, working on high impact websites for clients that care about customer experience and driving sales. Sometimes there were dev days, which gave developers an opportunity to hack on something for 2 days.

Cons

The client oriented aspect of it means you're working on a deadline, which can sometimes lead to late nights, but that's up to you as a developer. The process was Agile-like; there were daily standups, but it could have been more effective.

Cons

Nothing to complain about in my first year of employment here!

Pros

Great location: close to Washington Square Park. No micro management all you have to do is turn in excel sheets and talk to clients on the phone. Gives you strong job title which means little to nothing both internally and externally--when you explain company functions.

Cons

No upward mobility; don't count on getting paid very well even after promotions. Besides data-entry and QA testing (clicking around a website to find bugs), nothing you will learn at this company will help you in future careers. Terrible leadership Work environment has strong startup vibe Due to non-disclosure agreement I will not state; but it doesn't feel like you're working for an honest company Does not feel like you're working for self-gain or for a company purpose but feels like you're working for the CEO's best interests and his success. No possibility of great financial success at this company Forced to work about half an hour short of 10 hours a day for minimal pay
