I like the management style. Well defined goals but gives you the freedom to meet the goals in the best way you see fit. Atmosphere is fun but business like as it should be. Different challenges and tasks keep me learning and developing. I also like that it's a family business and each one is heavily involved and easy to interact with. They recognize when you've done a good job and typically are rewarded for it. Most benefits and pay are good.

Academy Bank is a fantastic place to work. I have been able to advance to more senior level positions throughout my time here, and management really takes an interest in promoting, fostering and mentoring ambitious employees that are interested in moving up the corporate ladder. In general, the company shows great respect for their employees and customers. In addition, the bank has been investing in new technology to enhance the customer experience, with integrated teller machines at new branches which reduces or eliminates the wait in teller lines. Several branches now have advanced ATMs as well.
