Pros

- Exposure to a variety of projects - Some great people if you can find them

Cons

- Leadership is consumed with sales. They don't care about how the sausage is made. - Poor engineering culture (no standardization; anti-patterns galore; "not my problem" mindset). - Sales people routinely put engineers in tough situations. Understaff teams and expect them to work late to meet unrealistic client deadlines. - HR ignores disrespectful behavior, even when formally reported. - "Chargeability" is the only metric that matters. - Opaque performance review process. When business is bad, you won't get a promotion/raise even if you deserve it.
