      Bureaucratic processes allow for decent work-life balance

      Pros

      Very slow bureaucratic life cycles so decent work life balance depending on your manager.

      Cons

      Very shady things going on with upper management and C suite. Company is dying. Culture and company mission weaken by the day.

      Pros

      Teams are very committed and rigorous in engineering practices. Work was very fulfilling as it benefits the fight against cancer. Pay was pretty good, and bonus's were scaled toward personal performance for individual contributors (at least in some respects).

      Cons

      Often too many projects were taken on, and teams could be spread pretty thin.

      Not enough support roles left due to layoffs so too many people asking for assistance really throws off focus.
