Pros

Immediate help from people qualified to not only help you with the proper parts but, be able to explain how to do the job. Will not sell you unnecessary items.

Cons

Low pay. I believe that leads to perhaps, frequent employee turnover. The work environment makes up for a lot, however, money is an issue in most families especially at the lower end of the income scale.

Each store is individually owned and you get the benefits of being a part of a bigger organization. Positive work environment and great long term staff.

Cons

Not much upward mobility working in any retail environment. Some customers were too 'old school' to listen to advice from a woman.
