Overall a positive experience. I learned a lot working here but it was just a summer job during college.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, generally felt my hard work was appreciated, my store had excellent customer service.

Cons

Pay was low (but it was only a summer job, so what should I expect), one manager accused me of sneaking out and not working when I had been working the whole time. Overall, it was pretty positive.

The local nature of my store was nice. We had some freedoms to do and work as we pleased, but that was dependent on the manager.

Cons

Pay is horrible, and raises could only be asked for once a year. We are expected to deliver A service for D wages, but that is retail.

Pros

Everything you learn at ACE will be useful the rest of your life. Look at it as a course in home maintenance and they pay you! Can be a fast paced environment during peak hours. Everyday is a little bit different. Flexible schedule that is accommodating of school schedules.

Cons

-Difficult customers sometimes make it painful, although the majority are good. -Pay Not that great, it is retail so that shouldn't be a surprise -Hours are bad, almost never get weekends or holidays off
