      OK but very seasonal offering too few hours for most needing a job.

      Pros

      This is a nice little company with good managers and staff that does a good job with team work and do not leave their work for others to do but carry their load. All employees appear to be honest with good work ethic and give good service to the customers.

      Cons

      Not enough hours and a specific employee consistently carries mis-information about fellow employees to one of the owners. This employee is a favorite and uses the method to elevate self in eyes of owner. If favorite does not like you you will never get more than a few hours. It is a shame because it is really not that competitive an environment.

      Pros

      Great pay for required work. Hours are pretty good, will rarely be asked to come in for extra hours or days. The crew is very fun (with a few exceptions).

      Cons

      Management rarely listens to ideas of employees. Very top-down management style. Common sense is lacking heavily in several employees and a few are emotionally volatile. Employees have relatively low expectations and responsibility. No real room to advance or move up.

      Customers are fantastic Management is very flexible with scheduling Ability to try a lot of new tasks and learn how a business operates

      Cons

      There really were no cons to working at Ace Hardware. The job was fun and my coworkers made going to work enjoyable
