It is very political working environment. Managers kiss directors' a*s in order to maintain their job security and promotions. It is nearly impossible to get promoted or recognized unless the top management people favor you. I have seen employees buying their managers' kids' gifts in order to keep their jobs which was quite unbelievable. Managers would spend hours chatting about weekend plans, fav restaurants, kids' schools, clothing stores and vacations instead of working. I have worked for some biggest corporations in the world, but Ace has one of the highest turnover rate. I have seen some loyal employees who worked at Ace for over several decades getting fired cuz they are old. Then a few months later, 22 years old showed up to do the same work. Stay away.
