Pros

-Relatively low-stress environment -Good way to learn DIY household repair/rennovation or get acquainted with trade skills -Requires minimal experience, good first job -Abundant part-time work -depending on location, can feel more community-oriented and like a local business -customers are often more gracious because of local connection

Cons

-Corporate structure overrules local ownership, and as such, you may still experience the bureaucratic rigidity and sense of insignificance/helplessness that comes with employment at many large national corporations -low pay -revolving-door staff -hit-or-miss management -minimal upward mobility

Worst management

Pros

Work was fun, Easy to do.

Cons

There’s multiple franchises so it depends where you go, I experienced the worst management in history. Management’s motto is: blame the customer and employee for everything. They offer no training . Training is: just watch us what we do and get yelled at for everything you do. Worked with old man and old woman in family store, they both have no idea what they’re doing. Co worker was violent and has anger management issues. Problems seems to come to that work place all the time. Like a lawsuit for example.

Too much favoritism

Pros

Other agents you works with are great and try to help.

Cons

Worked for them for 2 years and honestly the last year they make it seem like they care about their employees but they don’t. All the supervisors show do much favoritism it is sickening. They favor the agents that will not question anything and do everything they say. If you question anything they say you’re being difficult even if it is so you understand the processes more. If you don’t kiss up to them and be fake you’ll never make it here. There are employees who bust their butts and go over n beyond for this job but because they have a back bone for themselves, they are treated like second class. If you have an issue you should be able to go to a supervisor or HR but you can’t because then they go run back to whoever you talked to them about and tell them everything. Then you’re treated like badly Till you are basically forced to quit.
