      Pros

      The IT Team are genuinely nice and fun coworkers. Most IT employees have been with the company for 5+ years so there is a lot of experience. This is a great “homey” and helpful work environment.

      Cons

      The code base is pretty old and a lot of it has not aged like fine wine. Every team in IT also has its own methodologies on quality assurance, documentation, process workflow, software design/Architecture, code reviews, training, etc. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are bounced around from team to team. Up until recently some of the technologies had no real training plan and no senior architects. For new hires, this can be daunting.
