Acer is a tough environment to work in, especially if you're remote. That said, if you can align yourself properly its possible to make change pretty quickly.

Cons

Historically Acer was a very top down management style; that's starting to change under the new leadership where management is more open to ideas but it really depends upon the dept you work in. Also, being remote is tough as lots of decisions are made in real time in Taipei.
