Pros
Some really good people, paid time off bonus program, pay isn't too bad, growing. Great health programs. The ownership does genuinely care about their employees. I have never felt that anywhere more strongly than at Acme.
Cons
This place embodies the Peter Principle: people typically are promoted to their level of incompetence. So you have department heads that have never worked anywhere else but Acme. Promoting from within has its limitations in that they only know what they know. Lots of nepotism.
