      Pros

      There used to be some Pros but those have been taken away

      Cons

      -Your immediate boss is outsourced to a different company putting a roadblock in any hope of advancement. -People in the store hate you because you make work for them. Customers hate you because you move their products. Nobody appreciates anything you do. -Be prepared to be asked "do you work for Stop & Shop? 10000 times daily. -Today for example our work was finished at 9:30am and we stood at the front of Stop & Shop until 12:30 doing nothing. -DO NOT fall into this black hole of agony. Get a meaningful internship or entry level position at a respected company.

      Pros

      The store personnel you work with on a daily basis Flexible Hours No recognition for your work or lots of boxes showing up at your door for future work you may or may not accept manager who ignores problems instead says DYI No pay for your first hour of drive divr or the first 40 miles These are pros of the job

      Cons

      Out of pocket often exceeds what you might actually make A computer system that defies imagination in where you can find the information. More firewalls than than the Great Wall of China Visit direction poor if you can locate it. Multiple Materials for visit -you figure out or try to get thru visit directions. Continually passing the responsibility to others. Having to check off everthing dealing with pay....many of the mileages are short bot in miles and time duration.

      Nepotism. I've never seen so many "friends" at one company. There are a lot of jobs "invented" for friends and family and people who already are currently employed are never considered for these jobs. A lot of employees leave this company to work for clients who will pay more. There is a huge turn-over rate in our customer service area and I believe it's because the employees are treated like slaves. There is too much micro-managing going on in that particular department. There also is a lot of behind the back talking by senior management about employees that is never shared until review time, when it does the least good.
