Pros

Flexible schedule, reasonable pay. Once you know the job it is easy. Communication with supervisor is daily emails, you are on your own.

Cons

Mileage rate could be better. Recruiter does not have information about job. Need to wait for actual phone interview with supervisor to get all details.

Pros

My experiences with Acosta thus far have been very good. However, I feel I've been lucky, as I have had good managers up to this point. I've had friends have the 'wrong' manager, and their experience is very different. You could say this about any company though. I got promoted when I deserved it and am given recognition/praise whenever I do a good job. That in and of itself makes it a great place to work. Also, they respect work/life balance.

Cons

They do no pay to payscale - period. New business is coming in all the time, which means an increase in commissions, yet no new employees are hired. Sales Managers desks are extremely over loaded, and the salary isn't even there as incentive. Raises are few and far between (I'm talking YEARS in between). Bonus only gets paid if company AND region make their goals.

Pros

I enjoy working for Acosta and have gained a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in the short time that I have worked for them. The thing that is most important to me is that I have had some very bad experiences with management and supervisors that put a bad taste in my mouth. But my supervisor that I have now at Acosta is wonderful. He is patient, understanding, forth coming, knowledgeable, honest, and respectful. But in return, he expects us to do our job, respect him, be reliable, consistent, and dependable. As long as we give that to him, he will provide us the leadership and management that we need to get our job done. I love Acosta but I wish I made more money.

Cons

The only downfall is that we are required to travel quite a bit but do not make very much money. Due to the travel, I have to get a rental vehicle and that really makes the amount of money that I make be even less.
