Small minded business mentallity, with a "Good Ol' Boy" culture. Horrible work/life balance.
Pros
If you want a paycheck, go for it...they hire anyone; they don't perform background checks and hire on the spot. This includes anyone with a bad criminal record. Their excuse is...it's construction and they're willing to turn a blind eye. If you can pass the initial drug test, you're good to go.
Cons
Very high employee turn-over and uneducated management. The majority of management work their way up from the field or have a family member who's been with the company, since the dawn of man. This leads to most Managers having a poor business sense and unethical practices being able to occur. Consistently, Branch Managers are over worked and constantly berated by corporate. In turn, they push their salaried employees to work long hours and if you don't comply, you're not a team member. Compensation is very low and family medical benefits outrageous- $636.00 monthly, for medical and dental. Little to no training, it's sink or swim. Racist and chauvinistic work environment; it's appalling. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere. Work environment, pay, and benefits are not competitive.
