Acquire reviews

Some of these reviews I am reading are misleading or seem to be from the perspective of employees that came here for fun and not work. Like many others, I did my research before but decided to make my own opinion based on my experience. Management has created a culture that is enjoyable but that does not mean there are not high expectations and a job to do. I think some people are looking to make a quick buck and reep the benefits without putting in the work and then get upset when management decides to part ways, or the individual just do not show up for work.

I originally applied for a Brand Representative position to a company listed as ‘Excel Marketing’, but after being hired, I learned that was not a company that existed and it was actually Acquire Marketing, listing jobs under a different name. During interviews they were very vague about what the day to day would look like/what the responsibilities would be, even asking for a specific outline of what I would be expected to do. They lure you in by telling you all the well known brands they do ‘marketing’ for like apple. They presented the position as a marketing position where I would be working with existing clients on marketing campaigns and tracking stats/sales. When I show up for my first day of training, they assign us to different stores (costco, bj’s, sam’s) to sell phone and internet plans. At no point during the interviewing process or training were we ever informed that this would be a strictly sales position, requiring long days and weekends for $12/hour. This job is a scam.
