Pros

“Unlimited Flex PTO” & remote work

Cons

Mafia style mgmt, low pay, no room for promotion, mgmt has no training, people who have hundreds of unworked activities & emails get higher job titles & the people who work our tails off & have the best work ethic & most experience get lowest job title & taken for granted. Team leaders are LAZY & pawn their work to their team, admin work is also handed off to CS team since CS is salaried & expected to work round the clock. Former employee lawsuits have forced Acrisure to pay salary rather than hourly since they weren’t paying for the OT, so they pay the MINIMUM salary allowed by law. Hostile work environment, different rules for different employees, everyone runs around like a chicken with their head cut off because mgmt provides NO direction. Lots of clients cancelling their policies lately because service as a whole has taken a dive. This place is a disaster & nobody seems to care. Endless meaningless meetings & emails. Put up or shut up. I’ll be glad to quit this embarrassement of a “fintech” company. It’s a joke!

Pros

Unlimited PTO No other pros

Cons

I spent my last few months getting bullied by my manager who was talking behind my back about me to other coworkers. Completely unprofessional. The upper management also drove my team into the ground by allowing below average performance and rewarding those who shut their mouths and accepted the horrible mismanagement of our team. I have never experienced 1) such trauma/bullying and 2) such low quality work in a workplace during my entire career.

Pros

Great coworkers, empowering manager, technical tools to do your job

Cons

New c-level decided to reduce staff by layoffs and then an aggressive “return to office” for everyone within 40 miles of an office. Hired as a Remote Employee but now being told that I have to start a 2 hour commute into the office, losing 16 hours of my life per week. Expect to see new IT opportunities, but only in the Grand Rapids region. When the commute was brought up, c level response was “that’s what you should expect for choosing to live in a major urban area.
