Pros

Growth and promotion potential. Lots to learn. Ability to move around the organization. You will come across some great people and plenty of opportunities to learn. Pay and benefits in line with the market.

Cons

The company is growing faster than it’s workforce can keep pace with. Many of your tasks and responsibilities may be wildly different from what what was portrayed in the interview and job description. The pace and approach to implementing significant changes, as the company strives to find its footing and a management structure that supports profitable growth, is often chaotic. Very top down driven company. In some areas of the company, management was so busy that they didn’t have time to actually be in touch with the individual contributors. While there are some phenomenal leaders, there are some abysmal ones as well, which is par for the course given the pace of growth and hiring.
