Many RBTs have sustained injuries on the job and are not given worker’s comp pay unless they meet a very specific set of criteria. - Expectation to travel to other centers to support at the last minute, sometimes up to an hour away. - Inconsistent scheduling. Schedules can change at the last minute and you can get assigned sessions with clients you do not normally work with. - Limited career opportunities unless you want to become a BCBA.
