My experience at ACB Action Behavior Center in Manvel, TX was unfortunately very disappointing. While there are some hardworking and caring team members, the overall management at this location creates a negative and stressful work environment. Leadership lacks transparency and consistency. Communication is often unclear, and decisions seem to be made without proper explanation. There is little meaningful support for professional development, and career growth opportunities feel limited rather than encouraged. Employee turnover is high, and staff are sometimes terminated without clear reasoning or constructive feedback. This creates instability and significantly impacts morale. Additionally, the workplace does not feel like a safe or inclusive environment for cultural differences. There is a lack of intentional effort to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, and concerns related to cultural sensitivity do not appear to be taken seriously. A healthy organization should create space where all employees feel respected, valued, and safe to express their identities. I hope the organization reflects on these concerns and works toward improving leadership practices, communication, cultural awareness, and overall employee support.
