Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Flexible hours and that’s about it. The disorganization will prepare you for anything that comes your way. Management badmouths teachers and their personal business behind their backs. This company does not operate with integrity either and will lie to parents regarding their child. Management will also talk down to you if you if you need any help. When you leave on professional terms they will fabricate stories about you and defame your character. I am now working at a company that treats people with respect and supports their teachers and students. I no longer dread going to work. Please avoid this company!! Several Covid cases were not reported and they do not care about the safety of their employees.

Cons

Pay and do not expect them to raise it The owner will never learn your name Stressful environment and burnout.

Pros

Flexible Schedule for students or moms

Cons

- Sink or Swim enviroment - No HR... the HR is the staff that works closely with the owner and other directors. You will get in trouble. - Office Staff talks behind others backs - Teachers are often stuck with too many children - Office will not help if a child is throwing a tantrum and hitting you they will just tell you to "deal with it" - They won't fire anyone, they just will transfer you to another campus - Children have been left on the bus and no one does anything about it - Pay is horrible. - They don't train their staff - Lie to parents to keep them happy

disorganized and lack of communication

Pros

They were very understanding about their staff's personal issues and worked with them but that's about it

Cons

Was hired for a different position, had no training whatsoever and different responsibilities that were not discussed during interview or orientation. I felt more like they didn't want those responsibilities and gave them to me to do. It was very stressful and the lack of communication and gossip among the office and teachers made it difficult to just even be there at times. Some parents were definitely very rude off the bat. The amount of parents that yelled at me in the first two weeks was more than I've ever been yelled at by a parent. The office and the teachers definitely have cliques and it shows, which made it hard to coteach or even ask for anything. They obviously had favorites too who supervisors had more leniency towards. All in all, it was a hectic time for me while working here. I had never been so stressed and anxious to go to work...and i've worked retail for four years before that.
