Pros
1. Decent bonus (Based on the performance of the company and not your own job performance) and 401k match 2. Overall, a positive and friendly work environment, but needlessly stuffy.
Cons
1. Only five paid holidays per year, and strict rules about use of your time off. (See #3). This can make Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. difficult. 2. Promotions and advancements seem to be based on your ability to help the "right people" do less work. Experience, work ethic, and ambition are often unrewarded or unnoticed. 3. If you are considering accepting a position here, read the employee manual carefully (particularly time off and benefits) and give it some thought and compare it to similar positions elsewhere. There are people here who have nothing to do but enforce it. 4. Many professional positions are filled by people whose work experience and ability doesn't nearly fit their title or job description. 5. Pre-hire drug testing and ongoing random drug testing that you WILL eventually be subjected to, regardless of your position. If you're in a hiring position, it will slice out a noticeable portion of the applicant pool. If you're a professional and value your free time or don't want to have the ongoing worry about what effect a false positive might have on your reputation, career, or family, just look elsewhere.
