Collegial relationships among veteran employees. Sense of doing intrinsically valuable work at leading edge of health care revolution.

Cons

Completely disengaged senior business management, unable to relate to employees. Confusing, scattered, sometimes seemingly irrational direction from parent company. Inadequate, poorly trained resources make quality work increasingly difficult.

Very poor communication, with hidden agendas. Upper leadership communicates changes poorly. Now talking about outsourcing some of the work to overseas workers, while laying off american workers.

Too much energy and time spent in trying to adapt corporate mentality and methodology of the parent company that does not work for AHM. Huge mid management layer, unfortunately mostly consistent of the people carrying about they own political cloud rather than the business. They are big burden on people that are intelligent and do the actual work. The working folk gets meaningless and useless requests that needs have to fulfill from multiple managers. The company’s structure looks like an inverted cone.
