Pros

I worked here for many years and learned so much that I took with me on my career. ActiveNav has a wealth of experience in it's Engineering department and a long history in the Data Discovery and Analysis space. The culture and the people really made my time here a great experience. The flexible working was a big perk of the role, allowing people to work around other commitments, but also come together and collaborate when needed. I worked here during a period of growth which allowed me to work with a bunch of engineers with different backgrounds. At the same time, the engineering leadership grew during my time here, which was very valuable for the organisation. This brought with it a great culture, your opinions and ideas were always heard and valued.

Cons

It's been some time since I worked here, so I can't say for sure whether these cons are relevant. Predominately serving a US market meant that there was often a disconnect between the customer and Engineering (arguably to some engineers this was a pro). I think more could have been done at the time to bridge this gap for some teams.
